Congratulations to our 2026 Le Grand Concours Winners

Bridgehampton School is proud to celebrate three students who earned national recognition in the 91st annual Le Grand Concours, also known as the National French Contest.
Sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French, the competition evaluates students’ interpretive reading and listening comprehension skills in French. More than 46,000 students participated nationwide in 2026.
Josue Rodriguez earned a bronze medal in French 1A, while Yaredci Chavez and Sabina Piecyk received honorable mentions in French 3. The students are taught by Francesca Chery.
All three students and their families have been invited to attend the 2026 Prize Distribution Ceremony on June 11 at Half Hollow Hills High School East.
