Students in grades 7–12 visited Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, and Louis Armstrong Stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
During the trip, students explored both venues, learned about the history of each site and gained a behind-the-scenes look at two major sports facilities in New York. The experience highlighted the connection between sports, teamwork and the operations that make major athletic events possible.
