Our fourth and fifth grade students attended Frost Valley YMCA, an outdoor education and leadership center in the Catskill Mountains. The program is known for its focus on environmental learning, personal development and team-building skills. Students hiked through wooded trails, participated in ecology lessons, completed group challenges and spent time around the campfire. The experience gave students an opportunity to explore nature, build confidence and strengthen connections with their classmates.
