Practicing Positive Behavior

The Bridgehampton Elementary student's kindergarten through fifth grade students joined together for a PBIS assembly all about practicing positive behavior. Classes traveled around the school to spots like the hallway, cafeteria, classroom, and even the bathroom to talk about what it means to be respectful, responsible, and safe in each space. Through PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports), we focus on teaching and celebrating positive choices, creating a shared language and a supportive school culture where every student can thrive. This work is so important because it helps our students build the skills they need to succeed not only in school, but in life.
